Lafayette is another one of my characters who played a small but significant part in a past story, Sanctuary in this case, but he settled into the whole of this supernatural world and cried our for something more to do. I hear you Lafayette! I'm working out your story.

For those who read Sanctuary, here is a reminder of Lafayette's part : He is a centuries old vampire born in San Domingo, now present day Haitii. He found his freedom in the city of New Orleans and stepped up to help Mike Travis and Father Becket in fight for survival in the war of the Born vampires against the Created ones. In the bloody climax in the Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania, Lafayette was seriously wounded  and needed care and time for him to recover. Care and healing came to him in the form of the Voodoo Queen, Monique, who took him to her home, a houseboat on the bayou in New Orleans. That is where I left you, my friend.

Your time to shine Lafayette!
